3)    If elected would you support legislation for the removal of firearm laws and regulations?  Why and to what extent?

Yes, because too many of these laws place unnecessary requirements on gun owners. I'd start with the most recent. A repeal of Chapter 180.
[10 Points]

4)    Which of the following would you be willing to support in regards to same-gender and/or polyamarous marriages and/or civil unions?

6)    Do you support the right for people to act as they wish in a private setting, with other consenting adults?
 Yes.
[10 Points]

7)    Would you support the banning of some firearms?  (IE:  Saturday night specials and "assault weapons")  Why and to what extent?

Yes, but only if the Police and the Military were the first to be disarmed.
[9 Points]

8)    In July 2000 the Police Dept. of Attleboro Massachusetts entered a private party without a search warrant.  The party was not open to the public or in the business to make a profit. Any donations given were used to pay rent.  When the police entered, they arrested two people.  The first person who was arrested organized the event.  The second person arrested was arrested because she spanked her consenting adult partner with a wooden spoon.  Do you support the actions of the Attleboro police as given in this example?  Why?

No. These were consenting adults who had their right to privacy violated.
[8 Points]

9)    Do you believe that firearms and/or firearm owners should be registered?  Which ones and why?
Only at the local level if a citizen wishes to be a member of an auxiliary police force. I favor voluntary registration of information on any weapons.

We asked Daniel MacKenzie for more information.  He replied:
I favor voluntary firearms registration. If a citizen wishes to be a member of an auxiliary police force which would assist regular police forces in the event of an emergency, then information on firearms owned by the auxiliary officer would be helpful to a police chief. Many police departments in the United States offer voluntary firearms registration. Among them are Piqua, Ohio and Sterling, Colorado. Firearms do not necessarily need to be voluntarily registered with police departments. Many Sporting Goods stores in Pennsylvania offer voluntary firearms registration.

He also specified:
Voluntary registration, with no qualifiers
[5 Points]

10)   Would you support the banning and/or regulation of ammunition; or of some types of ammunition?  (IE:  Hollow points, "Safety Slugs", etc.)  Why?
 No.
[10 Points]

Do you have an additional statement to make that is not covered by this questionnaire?  Use as much space as you wish.

The militarization of civilian police forces is a dangerous trend. So-called gun control advocates should focus their attention on an over-armed government.
