1)    Do you believe that the 2nd Amendment confers rights to individuals or only to the Militia / Military?

The 2nd. Amendment to the Constitution of the United States says quite clearly that it is the Right of every "Individual", for "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed".  This is then backed further, by the addition of the 14th. Amendment, and also even further yet with the addition of the "anti-KKK act", which survives today as; 42 U.S.C., Section 1983.

2)    Do you support equal rights for all citizens of the United States regardless of the person's sexuality?

YES!!!  A government body has NO Right to impose or inject any moral standards upon its citizens or into their lives.

3)    If elected would you support legislation for the removal of firearm laws and regulations?  Why and to what extent?

Yes, I would introduce and/or support, any and all bills, which removed any and all restrictions, as to an "Individuals" Right to own, keep, and/or carry any weapon they choose for the defense of themselves, their property, their state, or this nation.  The 2nd. Amendment makes NO distinctions as to who, how, what, when, where, or why, an "Individual" may be entitled to protect themselves or their property.

4)    Which of the following would you be willing to support in regards to same-gender and/or polyamarous marriages and/or civil unions?
    Check as many as apply:
        [ ]    Domestic partnerships for same-sex couples
        [ ]    Domestic partnerships for opposite-sex couples
[ ]    Domestic partnerships for polyamarous (more than two consenting adults)
        [ ]    Same-sex marriages
[ ]    Opposite sex marriages (What we have now)
[ ]    Polyamarous marriages (between more than two consenting adults)
[XAll of the above.  Everyone should have equal rights under the law.
[ ]    None of the above.  Government has no role in defining a marriage.  Leave it to the church.
        [ ]    Other_________________________________________________________________________

5)    What do you consider are "legitimate" reasons to own a firearm?
    Check as many as apply:
         [ ]    Personal Defense
         [ ]    Home Defense
         [ ]    Hunting
         [ ]    Farm Use
         [ ]    Competitive Shooting
         [ ]    Informal Sport Shooting
         [ ]    Informal Target Practice and/or Plinking
         [ ]    Collecting
         [ ]    Constitutional Rights
[X]    Other:  It is the Naturally Ordained Right of every "Individual" to the defense of self and property.
         [XAll of the above
[ ]    None of the above

6)    Do you support the right for people to act as they wish in a private setting, with other consenting adults?

YES!!!

7)    Would you support the banning of some firearms?  (i.e.:  Saturday night specials and "assault weapons")  Why and to what extent?

NO!!!  The Constitution and Bill of Rights, make no distinctions as to what types of weapons may be kept or carried by the "Individual", for defensive purposes.  Again, the 2nd. Amendment makes NO distinctions as to who, how, what, when, where, or why, an "Individual" may be entitled to protect themselves or their property.

8)    In July 2000 the Police Dept. of Attleboro Massachusetts entered a private party without a search warrant.  The party was not open to the public or in the business to make a profit. Any donations given were used to pay rent.  When the police entered, they arrested two people.  The first person who was arrested organized the event.  The second person arrested was arrested because she spanked her consenting adult partner with a wooden spoon.  Do you support the actions of the Attleboro police as given in this example?  Why?

NO!!!  Even though, as a U. S. Representative, I would have no direct jurisdiction over the actions of a local arm of our governing bodies, as stated, this is clearly a violation of the 4th Amendment, with its " ... right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures ... ".  By which, under federal law, the states and/or local authorities MUST abide.

9)    Do you believe that firearms and/or firearm owners should be registered?  Which ones and why?

NO!!!  Registration requirements allow the government, at any level, to pick and choose who may or may not own, keep, and/or carry, a weapon of self-defense.  This is, to me, clearly a violation of the 2nd. Amendment, and its guarantee to every "Individual".

10)   Would you support the banning and/or regulation of ammunition; or of some types of ammunition?  (i.e.:  Hollow points, "Safety Slugs", etc.)  Why?

NO!!!  Once again, the 2nd. Amendment makes NO distinctions as to who, how, what, when, where, or why, an "Individual" may be entitled to protect themselves or their property.

Do you have an additional statement to make that is not covered by this questionnaire?  Use as much space as you wish.

In my mind, it is the Right of any and every "Individual", to live their lives as they see fit for themselves, so long as they are not in violation of anyone else's rights while doing so!  This is clearly guaranteed under our U. S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and all subsequent amendments to these documents.
