1) Do you believe that the 2nd Amendment confers rights to individuals or only to the Militia / Military? Individuals
[10 Points]
2) Do you support equal rights for all citizens of
the United States regardless of the person's sexuality?
No more rights than are already granted in the
US Constitution
[3 Points, for permitting some rights, but limiting others. (See 9th and 10th Amendments to the US Constitution)]
3) If elected would you support legislation for the
removal of firearm laws and regulations? Why and to what extent?
I would support a repeal of the Assault Weapons
Ban, including high capacity magazines. It's a law that is purely cosmetic,
and lacks any substantive ability to reduce crime or violence in the US.
It's not just about hunting - I believe in today's society, especially
in the urban areas, it's about self defense. I've never been attacked by
a herd of deer, but I know people who've been attacked by gangs of people.
My SKS rifle may not be the most effective hunting rifle, but it's certainly
an effective tool to defend myself with.
[10 Points]
4) Which of the following would you be willing to
support in regards to same-gender and/or polyamarous marriages and/or civil
unions?

[ ] Domestic
partnerships for polyamarous (more than two consenting adults)
[ ] Same-sex
marriages
[X]
Opposite sex marriages (What we have now)
[ ] Polyamarous
marriages (between more than two consenting adults)
[ ] All
of the above. Everyone should have equal rights under the law.
[ ] None
of the above. Government has no role in defining a marriage.
Leave it to the church.

[10 Points]
6) Do you support the right for people to act as they wish in a private setting, with other consenting adults? No
[0 Points]
7) Would you support the banning of some firearms? (IE: Saturday night specials and "assault weapons") Why and to what extent? NO
[10 Points]
8) In July 2000 the Police Dept. of Attleboro Massachusetts
entered a private party without a search warrant. The party was not
open to the public or in the business to make a profit. Any donations given
were used to pay rent. When the police entered, they arrested two
people. The first person who was arrested organized the event.
The second person arrested was arrested because she spanked her consenting
adult partner with a wooden spoon. Do you support the actions of
the Attleboro police as given in this example? Why?
I do not support "warrantless" search's. As to
why the Police did this in the incident you mention, I do not know enough
to comment.
[5 Points, no support for the rights of invididuals in the "scene", See question #1 and question #6]
9) Do you believe that firearms and/or firearm owners
should be registered? Which ones and why?
No to both, because there does not reasonably
exist any demonstrable need.
[10 Points]
10) Would you support the banning and/or regulation of ammunition;
or of some types of ammunition? (IE: Hollow points, "Safety
Slugs", etc.) Why?
Would not support banning ammunition.
[10 Points]
Do you have an additional statement to make that is not covered by this
questionnaire? Use as much space as you wish.
Before any more "gun laws" are enacted, we need
to begin to enforce the ones we already have on the books. If guns cause
violence, then matches cause arson
