1) Do you believe that the Second Amendment confirms the individual
right of every American citizen to possess and use (update of keep and
bear) militia/military weapons for individual
self-defense, as well as for the defense of the State / National defense?
Yes.
10 Points
2) If elected would you support legislation for the removal of firearm
laws and regulations? If your answer is yes, and if you are elected, what
specific legislation would you
propose/support to ensure that this individual right is protected?
Which current laws which infringe upon this individual right would you
seek to repeal?
Yes. Carla Howell is a 100% pro-gun candidate. Governor Carla Howell will work to repeal Chapter 180, repeal the ban on handgun sales, and shred every other Anti-Gun law that on the books. Carla Howell will Veto every new law that serves to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms. Gun Prohibition laws disarm women, the elderly, the frail, and others who have no other means to protect themselves. Carla Howell will go to Beacon Hill with a Veto pen and a Shredder.

[ ] None of the above
Government has no authority to determine what
is or is not a "legitimate" reason to own a firearm. Libertarians believe
that any individual can choose any reason they wish to own a
weapon of self-defense.
10 Points
4) Would you support the banning of some firearms or ammunition? (IE: Saturday night specials, "assault weapons", Hollow points, and "Safety Slugs") Why and to what extent?
No. Government has no authority to ban anything
that can be used for self-defense. Banning certain "dangerous" weapons
is an example of Piecemeal Gun Prohibition. The strategy of Big
Government gun-grabbers for disarming Americans
is Divide and Conquer. These anti-gun laws don't work and serve only to
pass even worse anti-gun laws that endanger peaceful,
honest Americans.
We must not only repeal every new infringement on our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. We must restore our Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
10 Points
5) Do you believe that firearms and/or firearm owners should be registered? Which ones and why?
No. This is just one more example of Piecemeal Gun Prohibition.
10 Points
6) Do you support equal rights for all citizens of the United States regardless of the person's sexuality / orientation and / or gender identity/statement?
I support individual liberty and full personal
responsibility for everyone.
Equality under the law.
10 Points
7) Which of the following would you be willing to support in regards
to same-gender and/or polyamorous marriages and/or civil unions?
Check as many as apply:
[ ] Domestic partnerships for same-sex couples
[ ] Domestic partnerships for opposite-sex
couples
[ ] Domestic partnerships for polyamorous
(more than two consenting adults)
[ ] Same-sex marriages
[ ] Opposite sex marriages (What we have now)
[ ] Polyamarous marriages (between more than
two consenting adults)
[ ] All of the above. Everyone should have
equal rights under the law.
[ ] None of the above. Government has no role
in defining a marriage. Leave it to the church.
[X] Other
Government should have no say in the relationships of consenting adults. All adults should be treated equally under the law. Government representatives should not condone nor condemn any particular lifestyle. Individuals should be free to choose their own moral values and their own moral leaders.
10 Points
8) Do you support the right for people to act as they wish in a private setting, with other consenting adults?
Yes.
10 Points
9) In July 2000 the Police Dept. of Attleboro Massachusetts entered a private party without a search warrant. The party was not open to the public or in the business to make a profit. Any donations given were used to pay rent. When the police entered, they arrested two people. The first person who was arrested organized the event. The second person arrested was arrested because she spanked her consenting adult partner with a wooden spoon. Do you support the actions of the Attleboro police as given in this example? Why?
No. Police should use taxpayer resources to go after child molesters, rapists, murderers, and thieves - not to intervene in the private affairs of consenting adults.
10 Points
10) Do you support equal immigration rights for partners of US residents, regardless of their sexuality / orientation and / or gender identity/statement?
Yes.

Do you have an additional statement to make that is not covered by this
questionnaire? Use as much space as you wish.
We need candidates who will vote against every anti-gun law and to repeal every existing anti-gun laws. But we must do more.
The only way we can restore our Right to Keep and Bear Arms is to make government small.
Big Government has endless resources to invent new laws, new regulations, new law suits against honest gun owners, gun dealers, and gun manufacturers.
Small government has only enough resources to defend our lives, our liberty, and our property.
The problem is NOT the abuse of power. The problem is the power to abuse. Take away the power, make government small - and no abuse is possible.
Big Government guarantees that our gun rights are always at risk. Small government guarantees that our gun rights are never at risk.
Please vote Carla Howell, Libertarian for Governor. I will work to make government small. Every issue. Every time. No exceptions. No excuses.
small government is beautiful(sm) -- AND IT LEAVES
OUR GUNS ALONE!
