By July of that year, our founder Doug Krick had begun to organize the first Pink Pistols chapter in the Boston, MA area, and only a month later he was saying in a press release:
"I'm excited by the amount of interest already expressed the Pink Pistols. I've already received interest in our group from places as far away as Minnesota. At this rate, I expect that we will grow and become a truly national organization in a relatively short time."
Doug was quite correct, and now, only three years later, there are now over 46 Chapters in 32 States
We are dedicated to the legal, safe, and responsible use of firearms for self-defense of the sexual-minority community. We no longer believe it is the right of those who hate and fear gay, lesbian, bi, trans, or polyamorous persons to use us as targets for their rage. Self-defense is our RIGHT.
We do our best to meet monthly, usually on the third Saturday of each month, for fellowship and to keep our skills current. All are welcome to join us. If you don't have a firearm of your own, loaners are usually available from other members, or many ranges will have rentals.
