NEPA PINK PISTOLS  - SHOOTOUT/COOKOUT

Saturday, September 27 , 2008 – Rain or Shine - at Table Rock Refuge, New Milford

Shooting starts at 2:00 P.M. Picnic cookout starts at 6:00 PM.

If they don't have a gun or ammo, we'll have something for them to shoot*!

Please bring a prepared dish to pass (like salad or dessert).  Al and John will provide beverages, snacks, hamburgers and hot dogs.  It will be appreciated if you let us know you /how many are coming so we can get a handle on the food needed.  (E-mail  nepa@pinkpistols.org  or  phone 570 465 2047)

NEW!! NEW !! we have a steel plate range LOTS OF FUN – in addition to paper targets and gongs.  Friendly, helpful safety training, gun and shooting advice and instruction always available.  Experienced or brand-new shooters – All are welcome.  Formal NRA Pistol and/or Rifle, or Home Firearms Safety Course training available by scheduled appointment.

I 81 Exit 219 GIBSON by Flying J travel plaza

TURN onto PA 848 W, past State Police barracks

GO 2.3 miles to STOP sign ("T" intersection),

TURN RIGHT on 848 W downhill 0.8 miles.

at bottom of hill turn RIGHT up Sutton Rd.

1.8 miles straight up hill on Sutton Road to Box 148A . . (on right) (Note: Box Numbers NOT in order.)

3 car garage, brown ranch on right.

                                                (Drop food off at house first, please)

Once at the 3-car garage, follow signs to parking area and range:

Turn Right next to 3-car garage,

Turn LEFT behind the barn,

Go past barn, bear RIGHT downhill through the woods to POND,

Park in grassy area, cross stream to RANGE)

 

Range and Firearm SAFETY RULES will be followed and enforced at all times.

1) ALWAYS keep your gun pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION

2) KEEP your FINGER OFF the TRIGGER until READY to SHOOT.

3) Keep GUN UNLOADED until READY TO USE.

Alcohol can be enjoyed afterward – never before or during a shoot.

Gun Control does not reduce crime – it just creates unarmed victims.

Two things every home should have:  A Fire Extinguisher and a Firearm.                  

Pray that you never need either; but you'd better know how to use them if you do.
