Doug Krick, the founder of Pink Pistols, identifies as bisexual -- not gay.

The Pink Pistols do not limit themselves to the GLBT crowd.  We're for queer folk of all flavors.  Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, BDSM, Polyamorous, and other alternative sexualities.  We also have a signifigant number of heterosexual members.  If we were to query our membership, the question to be asked, "Are these consenting adults?"  If so, then welcome!

Regarding the sniper...  The  responce of gun enthusiests to prohibit a national ballistic database wasn't based on "we really don’t see the need for a national registry that could trace which gun shot which bullets", but rather, "a national registry cannot work as people are discussing it.  Our best hopes cannot change the laws of physics."  See the Pink Pistols press release for more information on this point.
