"National Rifle Association gives guns to sexual minorities"
We are not part of the NRA.

"Group of instructors from Portland started trainings on shooting for representative of sexual minorities."
While we do have a chapter in Portland, the Pink Pistols started in Boston, Massachusetts.

"According to opinion of instructors which created this training, 'The Pink Pistols', gays have right to have gun also as other US
citizens."
This implies that a set of instructors came up with the idea for the Pink Pistols.  In many cases we're just friends who get together monthly to go shooting.

"But they don't like gays on usual shooting trainings. Result is that sexual minorities which have a gun don't know how to deal with it."
This is completely false.  We have been welcomed by the shooting community at large.  Furthermore, the average Pink Pistols member does partake in some formal training, and practices shooting on a regular basis at the local range.  As a result while your average member may not be a championship shooter, they are competent with their own firearms.

"Training's program doesn't different from usual one. From the beginning - study of how gun is made, practice to manage with model, then shooting in the fields.
More incorrect information.  While the Pink Pistols don't tell people how to instruct, this is not the manner in which your average person received training.  Check with your local NRA or State Police for instructions on how training takes place.  [IE: People train with live weapons, starting with an unloaded gun at the firing range.  I don't know anyone who trains "in the fields".]

"Besides received practical skills, teens are psychologically ready now to unforeseeable consequences."
Most of our members are adults who are over 21.  While we leave the requirements of age to join in shooting at the local chapters, I am personally aware of only one teen who have gone shooting with us from July 2000 until January 2003.  And he was accompanied by his mother, who suggested they join.

We also do not pretend to prepare people on the psychological front.  We can only show people how to use the tool, and allow then to use it with friends in a supportive enviornment.
